43: The Biochemistry of NAC
Today Angela delves deeper into understanding a very important and often over looked compound: N-Acetylcysteine, NAC for short.
NAC is a precursor for L-Cysteine as well as an essential substrate for our bodies to make Glutathione, a very potent anti-oxidant which protects our our cells from damage & oxidative stress. NAC also has a wide variety of uses and conditions it can benefit such as: infertility, PCOS, addictions, depression, anxiety, OCD, lowered immunity and liver function, bronchitis, colds/flus, anti-aging and much more!
