25: Anxiety, Depression, Addictions And The Kryptopyrrole Link

If you or someone you love has been experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, addictive tendencies or cognitive decline (e.g. Altzihmers) then this show is for you! Have you heard of Kryptopyrroles? This is the topic of todays episode because of their direct link to all the conditions we listed above.

The short version is that we can now test (via a urine sample) if you have a condition call Pyrrolurea which leads to high levels of Kryptopyrroles and HPL in the blood (also known as Mauve Factor)... these byproducts can then bind to essential nutrients like Zinc, B6, Biotin and GLA which can in turn wreak havoc with your body, especially obstructing the production of healthy neurotransmitters, thus leading to a long list of symptoms including:

  • Anxiety
  • Phobias
  • Depression
  • Bi-pola
  • Schizophrenia
  • ADHD & learning difficulties
  • Violent behaviours
  • Cognitive decline
  • Low mood/mood swings
  • Lowered immunity (constantly sick)
  • Fatigue
  • And much more!

There are some very easy ways we can test for this and we can begin treating immediately with nutrient therapy, which can almost immediately begin to reduce symptoms and in a lot of cases can eventually replace the need for medications (if you are positive for Pyrrolurea or a polymorphisim).

So there is hope! And there are lots of wonderful new discoveries in this area of research that can begin helping you today back to health and living life to the fullest! Listen now to get all the details. Email or call us on the clinic if you would like to get tested to see if you have Pyrrolurea, we'd love to help you get to the bottom of things and get you back to health!

22: Top Herbs For Stress, Anxiety & Fatigue

In this show Angela delves into the remarkable world of Phytotherapy and herbal medicine as she discusses a group of herbs called 'Adaptogens'. These herbs have a remarkable ability to assist our body in adapting to stressors - either mental, emotional or physical - helping the body back to homeostasis, boosting our energy and immunity and helping us heal.

Studies have shown that these adaptogenic herbs can reduce blood cortisol levels by up to 27% and overall stress, anxiety and insomnia markers by 75%. This is a remarkable result, especially when there are little or no side effects from herbs compared to the long and varied side effects from conventional medications. This makes herbal remedies, and specifically adaptogens, a very valuable addition to any treatment plan, to help your body heal, recover and reach it's ultimate potential.

Listen today to find out more ways adaptogens can start helping your body back to health and energy today!
